This award honors Louisiana bankers who are 45 years old or younger for their contribution to their bank and/or the banking industry. Bourg was named one of five recipients chosen from banks across the state to receive this honor.
As an employee of Synergy Bank for 14 years, Bourg has worked as the project manager for two core processing conversions and the renovation of our Main Office. He has increased efficiency across various departments with his research and expertise in building reports and programs. Following Hurricane Ida, Rusty worked tirelessly to ensure as much normalcy as possible for staff.
“Rusty does not accept the status quo,” Synergy Bank President and CEO Jerry Ledet, Jr. said. “He is constantly looking for ways to increase efficiency, which in turn creates an improved work environment. Plainly noted, he makes people - especially our younger generation - want to be a banker. We are proud to have Rusty on our team and grateful for his hard work and dedication to Synergy and our community.”
Synergy is a locally owned community bank with ten locations throughout the Bayou and Capital Regions. As of September 30, 2024, the company’s total assets equaled $1.197 billion. Further information may be obtained from its website at https://www.synergybank.com/.
